Delete your Pulse data.

Pulse gives you direct controls to disconnect inboxes, erase local activity, and revoke provider access.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

No server account

The current version of Pulse stores connected-inbox data on your iPhone and does not create a separate Pulse cloud account.

01

Delete all Pulse data

  1. Open Pulse on your iPhone.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Pulse Data.
  4. Confirm Delete Data & Disconnect Accounts.

This disconnects all Gmail and Microsoft sessions and deletes cached email activity, alert history, account names and icons, OAuth tokens, and Pulse preferences from the device. It does not delete or change original messages in your inbox.

02

Disconnect one inbox

Open Accounts in Pulse, choose the connected inbox, and use its disconnect control. This removes that connection and its Pulse data without affecting your other connected inboxes.

03

Revoke Google or Microsoft access

You can also revoke access directly with your provider. Revocation prevents Pulse from requesting new mailbox data but does not by itself erase activity already cached on your iPhone; use Delete Pulse Data in the App for that.

  • Manage Google third-party connections
  • Manage Microsoft app permissions
04

Recently Deleted

Items moved to Recently Deleted remain in the local Pulse database for up to 30 days so you can restore them. You can permanently delete them sooner from Settings. Deleting all Pulse data removes them immediately.

05

Before uninstalling

For the clearest deletion flow, use Delete Pulse Data before uninstalling the App, then revoke Pulse in your Google or Microsoft account settings if desired. The current version has no server-side Pulse mailbox account or developer-held mailbox copy that requires a separate request.
